In a collaboration to design a chair meant to be placed on bleachers. The starting point was the classic archetype of chair Klismos chair and the specific Klismos chair we where given as a starting point was The Swedish Presidential Chamber Chair. A chair dating back to 1812 by Ephraim Ståhl.
The Brief
Design with the classic archetyp seen on the right as a base. Create a chair meant to be put on bleachers in the new student house in Campus Valla in Linköping University.
